Mobile apps — iOS · Android

App development

We design and build apps for iOS and Android from a single codebase when it fits, native when the project calls for it. We publish them on the stores and maintain them.

Who is it for?

For companies and startups in Girona and Barcelona that need a real app: not a wrapper around your website, but an application with its own functionality, user accounts, notifications or device features (camera, GPS, offline). We handle both the first MVP to validate an idea and the evolution of apps already in production.

iOS and Android

One codebase (React Native or Flutter) for both platforms when it fits, or native development (Swift/Kotlin) when performance or hardware demand it.

Product design (UX/UI)

Flows, screens and a clickable prototype before coding. Less rework and an app that explains itself.

Backend and API

User accounts, database, admin panel and API. If you already have a system, we integrate with it.

Notifications and device features

Push, camera, geolocation, in-app payments and offline mode, depending on what your app needs.

Store publishing

We prepare listings, screenshots and compliance, and handle publishing on the App Store and Google Play.

Maintenance and updates

iOS and Android change every year: we keep the app compatible, fix bugs and add features in phases.

  1. 01

    Define

MVP scope, platforms, must-have features and a fixed quote broken into phases.

  2. 02

    Prototype

Flow design and a clickable prototype you validate before a line of code is written.

  3. 03

    Build

Iterative development with test builds you can install and comment on as we go.

  4. 04

    Publish

Testing on real devices, store publishing and post-launch support.

Starting with an MVP and growing in phases

The most expensive way to build an app is to try to build all of it at once. Nobody gets every feature right before real people use it. So we start with an MVP: the minimal version that solves the core problem and can ship early. With it you validate the idea, see how people actually behave and decide what to build next from data, not guesses. Each phase has a defined scope and a fixed budget, so you control the investment and can stop whenever you want. Often the second version looks nothing like the original plan, because users reveal things no prior meeting would have. Shipping sooner and learning fast is cheaper than a year of coding blind.

The real cost of keeping an app on the stores

Development is only the start of an app's cost. Once it's live, iOS and Android release new versions every year that can break things: an unmaintained app stops working within two or three years. Certificates need renewing, store requirements change and bugs appear on phones that didn't exist when we built it. The developer accounts (Apple, $99 a year; Google Play, $25 once) are in your name and paid by you, so the app is genuinely yours. We tell you this cost from the start, not after you sign. An app is like a car: buying it is one day, keeping it running is every year.

Frequently asked questions

Native or cross-platform?

Cross-platform (React Native or Flutter) when you want iOS and Android with a reasonable budget and maintenance: it covers the vast majority of cases. Native when you need top graphics performance, heavy hardware use or very platform-specific features. We recommend the one that fits your project.

How much does it cost to build an app?

An app is a bigger project than a website: there's design, a backend, two platforms and publishing. A scoped MVP starts in the several-thousand-euro range; from there it depends on features. We work in phases so you can start with the essentials and grow.

How long does it take?

A well-scoped MVP usually takes 8 to 16 weeks. Apps with a complex backend, payments or many integrations take longer. We define the phases up front so you get realistic dates.

Who pays for the developer accounts?

The Apple ($99/year) and Google Play ($25 one-off) accounts are in your name and yours: that way the app and its data belong to you. We help you create and configure them.

What happens after launch?

A published app needs maintenance: every year new iOS and Android versions can break things. We offer monthly maintenance that keeps the app current and available to add improvements.
