Why the domain must always be yours
The domain is your business's address on the internet, and there's a rule we never break: it's registered in your name, with you as the holder. It sounds like a detail, but it's what separates being in control from being trapped. When a provider registers the domain in their own name to tie you in, the day you want to leave you discover that the address your customers know you by isn't yours, and getting it back can be a nightmare. We manage it for convenience (renewals, DNS, email), but ownership is always yours and you can take it whenever you want. A lapsed domain, moreover, is lost and someone else can grab it: that's why we warn you before every renewal. Your name on the internet can't depend on anyone's goodwill.
Migrating hosting without the site going down
Switching hosting is scary for one reason: the site being offline in the middle of the change. We do it so that doesn't happen. First we set up the new hosting and copy the whole site (files, database, email) without touching what's live. Then we test that the copy works in a hidden environment, with everything checked. Only once it's verified do we change the DNS so the domain points to the new server, and during the transition both respond, so no visitor sees a site that's down. Email is migrated carefully and separately, because losing a message isn't an option. For your customers the change is invisible: the site looks the same, only now it's faster and better looked after.

Is the domain mine or yours?
Yours, always. We register it in your name with you as the holder. We manage it for convenience, but if one day you want to move it to another provider, it's yours to take. We never hold clients' domains hostage.
Can you host a website you didn't build?
Yes. We migrate sites from other providers without downtime: we set up the new hosting, copy everything, test, and only then switch the domain. The process is transparent to your visitors.
What happens if my site goes down?
You write to us and we look into it. With backups we can restore the site to how it was before the problem. On maintenance plans, monitoring often alerts us before you even notice.
How much does it cost per year?
The domain is a small annual fee; hosting and email are a monthly or annual fee depending on the resources your site needs. A normal corporate site costs very little; a high-traffic store needs more. We spell it out with no fine print.
Where are the servers?
We work with data centres in the European Union, with GDPR covered. If your audience is local, a nearby server also helps the site load faster.
